What is WasteCollection.com?
WasteCollection.com is part of IWMS, an independent waste management company based in the UK that is split into four divisions:
- IWMS (Intelligent Waste Management Solutions)
- WasteCollection.com
- TheEasyRecycle
The company was started in 2006 by Philip Mossop and Robert Twiselton to offer companies a more tailored approach to their waste management and recycling systems. Having both worked in the waste industry for many years dealing with large blue-chip organisations it became apparent that the traditional waste management companies were not offering solutions to businesses that covered every aspect of waste and recycling under one contract. WasteCollection.com initially began developing bespoke systems for its clients who were looking for long-term and sustainable waste management solutions.
The company has quickly grown to include many, well-known, high-street retailers, corporate and blue-chip organisations providing a diverse range of services all tied together by professional management and advanced analysis and reporting on the systems in place.
What is the Online Store?
The WasteCollection.com Online Store is the first of its kind in the UK allowing businesses to purchase and set up all types of waste and recycling services via the Internet.
With services as diverse as wheeled bins for general daily waste collections to waste electrical equipment and hazardous waste there is truly something for everyone who is looking at waste and recycling solutions.
Whilst the shop is intended to take away the headache of making calls to get prices and making enquiries it is by no means the only way to communicate with the store. With offices in London and Northampton there are freephone 0800 numbers for anyone who still feels the need to speak to an advisor about the services we offer.
How do I decide what service is right for me?
There are two ways to find the right service for you; the first is by using our unique Waste Calculator. Answer a series of simple questions and it will automatically tell you the best service for your needs. It will even offer an alternative!
The second method is by calling one of our customer service advisors on 0800 520 0706 and they will be happy to help guide you through setting up your waste collection service.
How do I order and my services?
Once you have found the right product for your businesses needs you add it to your shopping cart and progress through to the checkout. The site will automatically take you to our online merchant bank partner, Worldpay, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Here you will enter your card details and payment will be taken up to the end of the current month.
Thereafter on the 1st of each month your account will be debited the normal monthly amount, which is, indicated when you are in the shopping cart.
If you have a normal monthly spend of over £100 per month you will be given the option, in the checkout, to apply for 30-day credit terms. If you choose this option you will not go to Worldpay and your order will be sent directly to us for processing. Upon a successful credit check your account will be approved and your service started. At the beginning of each month you will receive an invoice and will have 30-days net to pay the invoice in full.
What happens next?
Once you have set up and purchased your waste collection services you will receive an electronic invoice and confirmation of your service.
One of our customer service advisor will process your order within the hour and will send you confirmation of when your service will begin along with your Duty of Care certificates – obligated under the Duty of Care regulations.
